Police investigating the death of Shiva Sharma in Lucknow are questioning model Shraddha Dubey, her sister Rashmi Dubey and their driver Danish to establish the circumstances surrounding the case. According to police sources cited in reports, the three accused were questioned separately and later together. Investigators are also examining Shraddha’s alleged past relationship with Zulfiqar, reportedly the leader of the Z gang, which is said to have continued until 2024. Police sources have further claimed that investigators are looking into the possible role of a Uttar Pradesh legislator in arranging accommodation for Shraddha in Nagpur. However, these allegations remain under investigation and have not been independently established. Police have also reportedly frozen one of Shraddha’s bank accounts containing approximately ₹6 lakh as part of the probe. Three Accused Arrested in Nagpur, Brought to Lucknow
Shraddha Dubey was arrested in Nagpur on October 20 along with Rashmi Dubey and their driver, identified in reports as Danish. A Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force team carried out the arrests, following which the three were brought to Lucknow on remand. A reward of ₹50,000 each had reportedly been announced for information leading to their arrest. During questioning, investigators are examining their individual accounts and possible links to the incident. Reports also suggest that Shraddha was concerned about her Instagram followers during questioning. Investigators are additionally looking into claims that a lawyer’s son, whose father was a former Director General, helped arrange legal assistance for her. Shiva Sharma Died on October 9, Murder Case Registered
The case relates to an incident on October 9 in the Balu Adda locality under Hazratganj police station limits in Lucknow, where Shiva Sharma allegedly fell from the balcony of an apartment building. Police initially investigated the incident as an accident. However, following allegations by the victim’s family, a murder case was registered. The case also names Rashmi Dubey, driver Tanveer Ali, also known as Danish, and two other individuals, according to the report. While Shraddha was absconding, two videos attributed to her surfaced in which she denied involvement in Shiva’s death. She also alleged that Shiva had debts of ₹15–20 lakh and had threatened to take his own life because he was unable to repay them. Police are continuing their investigation to establish the sequence of events, verify the competing claims and determine responsibility for Shiva Sharma’s death.
