UP Free JEE-NEET Coaching: Talented children whose dream of becoming a doctor or engineer used to remain unfulfilled due to financial hardship can now see hope. The uttar Pradesh government has launched a wonderful initiative for them. The Social Welfare Department of the Yogi government, in collaboration with the Dakshana Foundation has started a special scheme through which the dreams of poor children can now become a reality.

What Facilities Will Be Provided
Under this scheme, students studying science in class 12th will be provided completely free coaching for a full 1 year for national level entrance examinations like JEE and NEET. Along with free coaching at the Dakshana Valley campus located near Pune, the selected male and female students will also receive the facility of free accommodation and nutritious food.

Selection Process and Eligibility
Students studying science in class 12th in the academic session 2026-27 are appearing for the board exams by May 2027 from Sarvodaya Vidyalayas will be eligible for this. The selection of students will be done through the Joint Dakshana selection  test 2027.

For JEE Coaching
For JEE engineering coaching, a minimum of 85 percent marks in Mathematics and Science in Class 10th is  mandatory for genral category male students. To encourage female students a 5 percent relaxation has been given, making this limit 80 percent for them. Separate relaxation norms have been fixed for students belonging to OBC, SC, ST and persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories as per rules.

For NEET Coaching
For NEET medical coaching, general category children must have a minimum of 80 percent marks in science and maths in class 10th. Whereas, 75 percent marks are necessary for OBC and EWS categories and 65 percent marks are required for children belonging to SC-ST categories.

Family Income Limit
The total annual family income for male students should be less than 3 lakh rupess. On the Other hand, for female students the total annual family income should be less than 5 lakh rupees.
