The Renault Duster has now been launched in India in a new, modern hybrid avatar. The company has taken the entire auto market by surprise with its starting price and features. Not only is it more affordable than other hybrid cars, but it also significantly outperforms them in terms of mileage. Price and Booking Amount
The ex-showroom price for this hybrid SUV starts from ₹16.99 lakh to ₹19.49 lakh. Customers can book this powerful SUV by paying a token amount of just ₹21,000. It should be noted that these prices announced by Renault are introductory, they are valid only for customers who receive delivery of their vehicle by December 31, 2026. The company has launched the Renault Duster in three different variants. Which includes Evolution, Techno, and Emotion variants.

Engine and Gearbox
This SUV is equipped with a 1.8-litre petrol engine, which works together with 2 electric motors and a 1.4 kWh battery pack. This complete setup together generates 160 bhp of power. This SUV can catch the speed 0 to 100 km/h in just 9.6 seconds.  Its most notable feature is the new multi-mode automatic gearbox, which includes two electric gears and four petrol gears. This modern technology  gives the car a total of 6 differnet modes to drive, which includes Pure Electric, Series Hybrid, Parallel Hybrid and fully Petrol Mode.

Mileage
The biggest USP of the Renault Duster Hybrid is its mileage of 29 kmpl. The company claims that in city traffic, the vehicle runs mostly on electric mode only. On a single full tank, the car can cover a distance of over 1,400 kilometers.

Premium Cabin and Look
An illuminated 'DUSTER' logo is given in the middle of the front grille of this SUV, which enhances its aesthetic appeal at night. Apart from this, disc brakes are available in all four wheels for better safety. Despite having a hybrid battery, excellent space is available in its cabin and boot space.
