Weather conditions in Delhi are expected to change on Thursday, with cloudy skies, light rain and thunderstorms forecast across parts of the capital. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), some areas may experience moderate rainfall, accompanied by lightning, thunder and strong winds.

The changing weather could bring some relief from the prevailing warmth. However, rainfall may not affect all parts of Delhi equally, and conditions could vary from one locality to another.

Rain Likely During Afternoon and Evening
According to the IMD forecast, weather activity may increase in some parts of Delhi during the afternoon and evening. Residents could experience thunderstorms, lightning and rain, along with gusty winds.

The combination of cloud cover and rainfall may lead to a temporary drop in temperatures, making conditions more comfortable in some areas.

Light Rain Possible During the Night
The possibility of rain may continue into the night. The weather department has forecast light showers, along with thunder and lightning, during the late hours.

Residents are advised to keep track of the latest weather updates, particularly if they plan to travel outdoors during periods of thunderstorms or strong winds.

What Will Be Delhi’s Temperature?
The IMD has forecast a maximum temperature of around 28°C to 30°C on Thursday, while the minimum temperature is expected to remain between 19°C and 21°C.

Cloudy skies and rainfall could make temperatures feel milder compared with clearer conditions.

Safety Precautions During Rain and Strong Winds
Residents should take precautions while travelling during rainfall and thunderstorms. Motorists should drive carefully on wet roads and remain alert to reduced visibility.

During lightning, people should avoid open fields and refrain from standing under trees. Following official IMD updates can help residents stay informed about changing weather conditions and any weather-related advisories.
