Delhi Income Tax Department has announced recruitment for several posts including Tax Assistant under the sports quota. The application process for this recruitment has started. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website. The deadline for submitting applications is November 10.

Through this recruitment drive, a total of 119 candidates will be selected. This includes 44 posts for Tax Assistant, 9 for Stenographer Grade-2, and 66 for Multi-Tasking Staff. In this recruitment, 67 seats are reserved for male candidates and 52 for female candidates. These positions are distributed across various sports, including athletics, cricket, badminton, football, and hockey.
Educational Qualification
To apply for the post of Tax Assistant the a candidate must have a graduation degree. Candidates who have passed the 12th grade are eligible to apply for the post of Stenographer Grade-2, while those who have passed the 10th grade can apply for the post of Multi-Tasking Staff. For all three positions, candidates must also possess sports-related qualifications.
Age Limit
Talking about the age limit, to apply for the post of Tax Assistant and Stenographer Grade-2 must be between 18 and 27 years of age. For the post of Multi-Tasking Staff, the age limit is set between 18 and 25 years. The age limit will be calculated as of August 1, 2026.
Application Fee
To apply for this recruitment, all candidates General, OBC, EWS, SC, and ST categories, as well as ex-servicemen and women will have to pay an application fee Rs 200. The application fee will be accepted only through online modes.
How much salary will be given
Candidates selected for the post of Tax Assistant will get a salary ranging from Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100. Candidates for the post of Stenographer Grade-2 will also receive a salary ranging from Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100. Meanwhile, Multi-Tasking Office Staff will receive a salary ranging from Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900.
